Justice has prevailed and I feel safer. Bin Laden's driver (the worst of the worst) was given a five and one-half year sentence. This means that he will serve another five months in jail before being eligable for release. Without the special military commissions, this asswipe could be out there on our streets, running stop signs and speeding through cone-zones. I will drive with less fear for the next five months. Thank you Big Brother. Are there any other off my civil liberties that I can give up so that more of these scum can be taken off our (their) streets? One can only imagine the fear this must strike to all Arab drivers! Not on Bush's watch, fuckers! America, Fuck Yah!

"GUANTANAMO BAY, Cuba, Aug. 7 -- A former driver for Osama bin Laden was sentenced by a military jury Thursday to 5 1/2 years in prison for supporting terrorism, a far shorter term than demanded by government prosecutors. The judge gave Salim Ahmed Hamdan credit for five years and one month of his pretrial incarceration at Guantanamo Bay, making him eligible for release from custody in five months."
"The sentence was a stunning rebuke to prosecutors who had insisted on a prison term of at least 30 years and portrayed Hamdan throughout the trial as a hardened al-Qaeda warrior."
