"As 2007 draws to a close, we have momentous news to share. The Secular Coalition for America has become the newest member of the Leadership Conference on Civil Rights (LCCR), the oldest and most respected civil rights organization in the U.S. Recognition that the nontheistic minority must be included in the struggle for civil rights marks a milestone for our constituency."
