Just Say No!

Greetings Friends and Family,
President Bush may be on his way out, but if we don't pay attention, his last action could be to start another middle east war, this time with Iran. We definitely don't need the President who made such a mess in Iraq to start up another endless war in the Middle East.
Without a clear line in the sand, Bush's reckless actions could start a war before more thoughtful Americans have a chance to weigh the options. That's why Congress has to step up and pass a bill making it crystal clear that Bush does not have the authority to go to war with Iran without first gaining the consent of the people.
There are bills in Congress that if passed, would prevent Bush from starting a war without the consent of the people, but our resentatives need our support in order to be successful.
I just signed this petition asking Congress to stop another war in the middle east before it starts. Can you join me?

PS: I don't for a moment assume that everyone I know shares my thoughts on how America should interact with other countries, so if you if believe we should start a second war - please share your compelling evidence with me as I haven't heard a good justification for a war with Iran (or any country for that matter).
