This is from the Washington Post, November 29. I am dismayed at the statement, "-if they have any say in the matter-". Why not?

The president who waged a preemptive war now wants to lock in place a preemptive occupation. Only this time, instead of preempting a foreign nation, he is seeking to preempt Congress and his successor. It's the logical conclusion for his misshapen and miserable presidency, and I doubt the American people -- if they have any say in the matter -- will stand for it.

welcome to the blogsphere reverend... i guess the worm has truly turned for you.

we're all the better for it, by the way... thank you.

just a quick question... aren't all abberations perpetrated by quasi moto and cout dickula reversible by their successors?

i think the world has these wackos' number, and simply holds it's breath until the stink of their tenure wafts into the cruel breeze of history.

cheers... milteo
